The SMT-7 adds quality and performance that is not normally found in a speaker this size. It adds nearly double the output of the SMT-5, but in a slim cabinet design. Now you can have the best of both worlds, a slim speaker with the output of a larger speaker. This monitor is great for those who are looking for a compact monitor with surprising big deep sound that integrates into any small room without filling your decor.
D E S C R I P T I O N
The SMT-7 speaker is crafted out of 3/4" thick MDF (medium density fiberboard) for reduce resonates sound. The cabinet is sealed accurate bass response. Each cabinet is aligned with the famous 1 1/8" soft dome tweeter for smooth dialogue playback and is accompanied by dual 5” aluminum cone woofers with rubber surround.
The Linkwitz-Riley crossover provides a steep slope and prefect blending between the woofer and tweeter. The crossover features high quality parts, such as aircore inductors and metallized polypropylene capacitors, all joint together by point to point soldering. All the features you would expect to find in larger and more expensive speaker.
