When it comes to size performance and value, the reference mini monitor speaker adds rich sound and solid built quality in a compact speaker. You can now have the best of both worlds, a small monitor speaker with quality sound. The Reference MM-100 Speaker adds quality and performance at an affordable price.
Each monitor speaker is crafted out of 3/4" thick MDF (medium density fiberboard), for reduce resonance sound. The cabinet is sealed for deep and smooth midrange extension. Each cabinet is aligned with a 1 1/8" silk dome tweeter for smooth airy sounding highs and accompanied by a 5 1/4" woofer driver with a large rubber surround and poly coated paper cone for smooth and natural sounding mids. This combination design gives you smooth bass response and midrange with clean open sounding highs from a compact speaker.
The Linkwitz-Riley crossover provides a steep slope and prefect blending between the woofer and tweeter. The crossover features high quality aircore inductors and metallized polypropylene capacitors, all joint together by point to point soldering, all the features you would expect to find in larger and more expensive speakers costing twice as much..
