This speaker is great for those who are looking for a compact high-end monitor speaker that can integrate into most small room., but can offer big and bold high fidelity sound of larger speakers.
The HD-1200 speaker cabinet is crafted out of 3/4" thick MDF (medium density fiberboard) that uses our treated -cabinet process for increase ridginess and reduce resonates. Each cabinet is aligned with a new 1" silk dome tweeter for a wide dispersion combined with a fine tuned crossover for better driver blending The cabinet is sealed for accurate bass response. The result is smoother dialogue and bass response. is accompanied by a 6-1/2" aluminum cone woofer driver with large magnet and motor structure with rubber surround for very deep bass response.
The new Linkwitz-Riley crossover provides a simple slope design for blending between the woofer and tweeter. The crossover features high quality aircore inductors and metallized polypropylene capacitors, all joint together by point to point soldering. All the features you would expect to find in larger and more expensive speaker.

The History of the HD-1 Speaker
The HD-1 Speakers are probably one of our best sounding monitor that was never made
public or discovered until now. This speaker (or its cabinet) was basically left
in storage for over several years This was . basically a project that was never
fully assembled. We knew that we had a good quality loudspeaker, but we didn’t know
how well it would perform even by today's standards.
With today's society, everything , like life, work is study being pushed forward
in a pace manner, where we forget the important things in life, and tend to overlook
the smaller things that really matter. Our main focus at the time was on building
compact satellite speakers, as time went on, we build speaker after speaker in-order
to achieve a sound that was pleasing to our ears. There was something that was always
missing. Small speakers can only give you so much sound, they lack the fullness
and dynamics of larger loudspeakers. Our goal was to create a speaker that give
a good amount of sound include solid bass and clean midrange response in a small
package.
Why not give it a try?
We always thought that the 6-1/2” driver, could perform well in a modern size enclosure
giving good bass response and midrange, just right amount sound for small rooms.
