The SMT SE-5v adds quality and performance that is not normally found in a speaker this size. It’s one of our smaller satellite speakers that we design. The SMC-4i is the slightly smaller version of the MC-4. Its feature the same driver arranges and parts , but in a vented cabinet. The cabinet allows slightly enhance bass response for lower frequency response. The speaker cabinet is crafted out of layered 1/2" thick MDF (medium density fiberboard) for reduce resonates and cabinet ridginess.
The Linkwitz-Riley crossover provides a steep slope and prefect blending between the woofer and tweeter. The crossover features high quality aircore inductors and metallized polypropylene capacitors, all joint together by point to point soldering. All the features you would expect to find in larger and more expensive speaker.
