DESCRIPTION
The SMT SE-5v adds quality and performance that is not normally found in a speaker
this size. It’s one of our smaller satellite speakers that we design. Now you can
have the best of both worlds, a compact speaker with good sound stage. This speaker
is great for those who are looking for a small speaker that integrate into any small
room, desktop or wall shell without filling your decor.
The SMT-5 small speaker cabinet is crafted out of 3/4" thick MDF (medium density
fiberboard) for reduce resonates sound. The cabinet is sealed accurate bass response.
Each cabinet is aligned with the famous 3/4" soft dome tweeter for smooth dialogue
playback and is accompanied by a 5" aluminum cone woofer driver with a rubber surround
for good bass response.
The Linkwitz-Riley crossover provides a steep slope and prefect blending between
the woofer and tweeter. The crossover features high quality aircore inductors and
metallized polypropylene capacitors, all joint together by point to point soldering.
All the features you would expect to find in larger and more expensive speaker.
