Below is a guide designed to illustrate how to set up your speakers properly to get the must accurate sound possible. This setup applies to Studio monitor speakers and desktop speakers.

Multi-Channel Set-ups

As you can see, this setup will give you the maximum and more accurate sound performance possible.  It involves placing the loudspeakers in a tri angel setup.

By placing the loudspeakers 2 feet (depending on room size) away from the wall in a room that runs 8 feet deep, this will give you a bigger sound stage.  By having a larger sound stage this allows you to hear the distance of the artist and instruments that are being played.  You can actual determine the distance at which the artist is standing in front of you.

Remember, midsize speakers should be place at least 2 feet from the wall (in small rooms).  As you can see they are Slightly toe-in.  Depending on the type of loudspeakers you have, a toe-in may not be necessary.   This is only necessary for the EX-4i speakers.
